Booking

Please send the OXYGEN CYLINDER CHECK FORM Form by fax at least 5 business days prior to your departure date. We will contact you after receiving the form.

*"Medical Information Form" should be completed by the physician.
"Special Assistance Request Form" should be completed by a passenger or travel agent.
*While our flight attendants will do their best to accommodate your travel needs, they are unable to provide any medical assistance such as medications, medical devices, or medical attention etc. If you require assistance with any of these, we recommend that you travel with a companion or make alternative arrangements.

1. Please make sure your cylinders meet the following requirements

・It must be an approved cylinder and labeled
・It must be gaseous oxygen for medical purposes, labeled "O2."
・It must have passed a stress test within the last 3 years (5 years for some cylinders).
・Container made of fiberglass (Fiber Reinforced Plastics) must not lapsed 15 years after manufacturing.
・Oxygen Cylinder must not exceed 5kg gross weight both for carry-on and checked-in.
・Acceptable size including any accessories such as carry bag or cart is as follows.
(If the size is within the following limit, O2 Cylinder which carry bag or cart is attached to may be stored under the seats in cabin or checked in.)
For carry-on: 50cm width X 40cm length X 25 height
For check-in: The sum of 3 dimensions is 203cm or less

*Portable oxygen bottles need to be checked for specifications in advance, please be sure to prepare photo or certificate of bottles.
*Portable oxygen bottles, packs of liquid oxygen or oxygen generators for sports use are not allowed to be brought on the aircraft.

2. Please inform us if you traveling with a companion.

The person using the cylinder must be fully knowledgeable in its use or must board with an escort who is fully knowledgeable in its use.


Check-in

We ask for your understanding that our staff may need to visually reconfirm your Oxygen Cylinder at check-in counter.

Check-in procedures and security check may take some time.
We advise you to come to the check in counter early with sufficient time to ensure priority boarding service. At least 60 minutes prior to departure for domestic flights (Kansai International Airport and Okinawa (Naha) Airport - 55 minutes prior), 80 minutes prior for international flights.


On Board

Oxygen Cylinder must be stored under the front seat in the cabin when you carry it on, so be sure to bring enough length of portable oxygen connectors (or tubes). For safety reasons, we will assign your seat; emergency exit row seats and 1st row seats will be excluded.


Arrival

If you have requested assistance in exiting the aircraft, please remain seated until our crew arrives to assist you.



Portable Oxygen Concentrator (POC)

Booking

Please send the Portable Oxygen Concentrator (POC) Specification Check Form by fax at least 5 business days prior to your departure date. We will contact you after receiving the form.

Please have a medical certificate must be issued within 14 days including the date of departure if you use POC on the aircraft.

1. Please make sure your Portable Oxygen Concentrator meets the following requirements.

・It is an approved POC and labeled [S-FAR106] on POC or Specification document.
・Having sufficient battery power for 1.5 time of the duration of the flight to its destination.
・All batteries for POC as carry-on baggage are protected from short circuit and are packaged in well protected cover/cushion that protects battery from physical damage.
・Acceptable size including any accessories such as carry bag or cart is as follows.
(If the size is within the following limit, POC which carry bag or cart is attached to may be stored under the seats in cabin or checked in.)
For Carry-on: Within 50cm width X 40cm length X 25cm height
For Checked: The sum of 3 dimensions is 203cm or less

*To prevent spare batteries from shorting, please wrap them appropriately to prevent contact with any metallic objects, including the terminals of other batteries.

2. Please inform us if you traveling with a companion.

The user should be fully familiar with the operation of the portable oxygen concentrator, or else should be accompanied by somebody who is fully familiar with it.


Check-in

We ask for your understanding that our staff may need to visually reconfirm your POC at check-in counter.

Check-in procedures and security check may take some time. We advise you to come to the check in counter early with sufficient time to ensure priority boarding service. At least 60 minutes prior to departure for domestic flights (Kansai International Airport and Okinawa (Naha) Airport - 55 minutes prior), 80 minutes prior for international flights.

Please note that there is no power supply on the seats on Peach aircraft. When using portable oxygen concentrators, please ensure that the battery power will be sufficient for the length of the flight and will also be sufficient should any delays occur. You should therefore prepare power for around 1.5 times the length of the flight.

If you have requested assistance in exiting the aircraft, please remain seated until our crew arrives to assist you.



Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD)

Dialysis cannot be conducted onboard.



Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP*1)

Depending on equipment, some types of equipment cannot be used or brought onboard. We will confirm whether the model of CPAP machine you have can be used on board. Be sure to contact our Contact Center at least 5 business days prior to departure.

※There is no power supply for each seat.
※Power may be turned off without prior notice in case of system failure or over-consumption of power.

CPAP*1 (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) machines pump air through a nasal mask to ensure that the respiratory tract remains open. They are used by sufferers of Sleep Apnea Syndrome. They prevent snoring, allowing the user to sleep restfully.



Insulin syringes (injection needle) / Epinephrine autoinjector

Customers with diabetes or who use self-injection can bring their Insulin syringes (injection needle) and/or epinephrine auto injector in the cabin. In order to pass the security check smoothly, please inform security check staff that you have the medical syringes (injection needles). For international flights, we recommend carrying a document explaining the purpose of the treatment. Please do not leave used medical syringes (injection needles) in the cabin, and dispose them properly.
